The kids are learning that prayer at children's classes and, on a related note, I thought that it was about time that we planted the pumpkin seeds that they got as part of the advent calendar. We're hoping to have some great looking Jack-o-lanterns ready for Halloween. We planted 15 and so far have 9 little seedlings. My thumbs are notoriously ungreen, so the kids are in charge of these guys and so far it's lookin' good.

"I am, O my Lord, but a tiny seed..."
