Making stuffed mushrooms from an old recipe and these fabulously large fungus that Bayan found in the supermarket. He thought they were hilarious. Ruhi thought they looked like they belonged in Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Very possible. Anyway the lamb and herb stuffing was fabulous as for the rest well, it was just way. too. much. mushroom.
Making weaving looms from recycled memo board frames that I used to have in my classroom but can no longer use for that purpose. Some students wanted to try their hand at traditional Mexican and Guatemalan style weaving. I am improvising the "looms" and Bayan, the self proclaimed fabulous fixer man, was very helpful when it came to hammer time. He was also excellent at locating renegade nails.
