Ouch!

Last night Ruhi slipped on the tiles (we're not having much luck with them lately) and had a nasty fall, landing full force on her funny bone (it wasn't funny). As she lay,in pain,on the couch cushions with an ice pack Anisa, of her own accord, decided to become Ruhi's personal nurse. Over the next half an hour (while we waited for the arnica to kick in) Anisa brought Ruhi two glasses of water, almond snacks (which she fed her), and a story book. She then, using the medical knowledge she gained during her stint in the hospital, took Ruhi's temperature countless times, attempted to apply wet compresses to the wound (which Ruhi wanted no part of - despite Anisa's reassurances that it was for her own good and "would only sting for a minute", eventually Anisa settled for using the compresses to dampen Ruhi's brow and cheeks.) She then went on to brush her hair. When Ruhi decided to head to bed Anisa turned her attention to Baba (Daddy) and attempted to ace bandage his sore knee with toilet paper. (We're not sure that helped.)

Thankfully Ruhi's arm is much improved this morning and only hurts "a little bit" when she stretches it straight.
